Pottles Barn is situated in the picturesque village of Surlingham, a stone’s throw from Norwich city centre in the south of The Broads. Home to the renowned Ted Ellis nature reserve, the village also has a farm shop, Portuguese Patisserie, garage, sailing club, shooting range and two local pubs, The Ferry Inn and Coldham Hall Tavern.
A bus leaves hourly each day (except Sunday) into Norwich for a spot of city sightseeing. There are some lovely walking and cycling routes for those who wish to explore this pretty corner of Norfolk.
